Need to change the front turn signal bulb on your Fabia Mk2? This quick guide shows you how to replace the indicator bulb in a few minutes with no tools.
Parts
- Replacement bulb – PY21W (Amber)
Tools
- Gloves – to avoid touching the bulb glass
Step 1: Locate the bulb holder
Open the hood (bonnet) and look at the back side of the headlight housing.

Step 2: Remove the bulb holder
Twist the bulb holder counter-clockwise and pull it out of the housing.

Step 3: Take the bulb out of the housing
Push on the bulb and rotate it counter-clockwise, then pull out of the bulb housing. Inspect the bulb housing for damage, dirt or oxidation on the contacts. Clean the dirt and scrape the corrosion off the terminals in necessary.

Step 4: Install the new bulb into the holder
Insert the new bulb into the holder and twist clockwise until it locks in place. Try to not touch it with dirty hands as that could shorten the lifespan of the bulb.

Step 5: Test the indicator
Turn on your hazard lights or use the turn signal to confirm the new bulb works. Insert the bulb holder back in the headlight housing and turn it clockwise until it locks in place.
